Our Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director to join our Southeast Asia regional team to be based in Singapore, Thailand or Indonesia, to help drive the growth of Southeast Asia Strategy and Operations Manufacturing consulting practice. We are ideally looking for someone with strong experience in one or more of the following industries:
• Industrial and/or high-tech industries
• Automotive
• Aerospace

Core Responsibilities:
Lead Management
• Organizes and leads pursuit teams
• Collaborates and works across the Southeast region as well as with other Deloitte entities
• Develops and leads execution of client targeting strategies in the industry team
• Identifies and prioritizes opportunities consistent with client targeting strategy
Proposal Development & Closing
• Provides guidance, direction and leadership to proposed efforts
• Develop overall proposal strategy, approach, risk mitigation strategy
• Negotiates engagement terms and pricing consistent with firm practices and policies
Developing Relationships
• Develops and proactively maintains contact with top decision makers at key accounts
• Plan, organizes, and conducts external conferences
Program Management
• Capable of leading large scale enterprise transformations
• Facilitating executive-level work sessions
• Defines engagement strategy, objectives, scope and pricing is consistent with client’s expectations
• Sets standards and processes for engagement planning, quality assurance, issue resolution and risk management
• Manage billing & collection and other critical engagement issues
• Demonstrates thought leadership eminence
• Capable of taking on a coaching/review/advisory role for clients
Practice Development
• Implements strategic direction, assumes accountability and resolves local issues relating to key practice unit function
• Provides local leadership in the development and sharing of all market valued intellectual capital
• Identifies areas of competency growth and enhancement
• Champion people development initiatives

Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate
• Has a successful background in manufacturing, automotive, high tech or areosapce consulting with at least 15 years of progressive career experience
• S/he will be a recognized leader and have in-depth regional market knowledge
• Solid experience in a consulting environment with experience identifying and closing sales
• Should be driven, ambitious and extremely proactive
• Excellent written and verbal communication as well as strong interpersonal skills
• Preferably educated to Master’s level, with experience of working in a global organization
